How did I guess that would be your response...? (Southampton and Wales... woot! ) Obviously thats the reason. There is another reason too. His height will come in useful at some point... I bet you! We shall see... Now how did I guess that that would be your response? And thats precisely what I would have said if my internet connection did not get blocked temporarily.

We win 3-1. Not superb, but was not bad either. And Beckham was in a league of his own today.

Woo! I like him... any of you heard of Gareth Bale, BTW? The virtual replay thing on the BBC is cool... =D> Bale looked useful when he came on against T&T. Did you see Arron Davies make his debut too? Yeovil Town have a full international

Only the internet for me. But it feels really strange to see Yeovil having an international. Imagine where they were 3 years ago.

Is it me or does Ian Wright seem like the most idiotic and clueless pundit in the industry. He still denied Lampard had a bad penalty, when it clearly was- and he just never gave Hungary credit. I detest biased pundits and commentators. Anyways- I feel England lack the cutting edge from open play that is needed to progress in the World Cup. I think its Quarter Finals without Rooney and they may go further if Rooney is fit.

I watched it of course. TV nowhere near computer so I wasn't online at the same time. Not the best game and a fairly mediocre performance, particularly in the 1st half. Beckham put it a few nice crosses, and set up a couple of goals. But I think I'd still like to see a speedy winger who is gonna run up and down beating players, perhaps Lennon would be a good option off the bench part way through the 2nd half. Excellent finish from Crouch. Despite being a giant, he is not actually that great at heading the ball. He is however quite good with the ball at his feet. Much better than he will ever get credit for. Excellent goal that was.

i listened to the tail end... from what the commentators made it sound like (and this is probably totally biased) england could do alright despite the odd look that the squad has about it. also judging from the play by play stuff (in otherwords: beckham crosses to crouch etc) the ball spent very little time in Englands half. that in itself is a pretty good sign.

Then again, we weren't exactly playing Brazil. Hungary only put 2 past New Zealand the other day.

i take it new zealand won? but we'll get a better idea on (what day is it? the day they play jamaica. the commentators only said it once) whatever day it is that they play jamaica. jamaica is not a bad team. if we have a similar result and also manage to keep the ball on their side the whole time i dont see why we cant at least pull something almost as good against brazil. (almost is the key word there)

New Zealand won? At football? Lol of course not, I think Hungary beat them 2-0. I just meant that a team who struggles against New Zealand (and NZ did find ways through their defence a number of times) should not really be troubling us too much. NZ did beat Georgia though to be fair.
