Nole:

This time last year I would have said Federer would beat Sampras's record. Now I'm not so sure.

His aura has gone. He's not as dominant as he was, and since I beat him in Australia he's looked frustrated. Players are beginning to challenge him now, especially myself and Rafa. He's got 12 Grand Slams to his name and maybe he will beat Sampras, but now I'm here it will be tough for him.

Yeah totally, I agree with the general gist that Fed has lost a little something, but he is still the best. And Nole is cocky, but hell, number 3 in the world, number 2 if he beats Nadal, he can afford to be Very Happy

I disagree, I don't think Federer is the best anymore. I think we'll see Nadal of Nole take Wimbledon.

Federer won 7 points more than Nadal in that match. It was very close and could have gone either way.

I'm sure Federer's dominance is now over. Not becasue he's got worse but because Nadal and, to an extent, Djokovic and other players have all got better.

The truth is, Fed has not played now at the level he's played before for a year and a half already. Already by last year's AO he wasn't playing as good as the two years before that.
