Dont mind a bit of hair then Al?!

What's your take on women with hairy armpits?

I once went out with a Chinese girl.  She was gorgeous.  However, the first time we did the business I noticed that she doesn't shave her armpits.  'Twas a shock to the system.

Why? Federer no longer dominating allows for tennis to become a much more exciting and less predictable sport. It's perfect timing for Murray as well - we can now realistically hope for him to be world no-1 one day.

I disagree.  Sure, the results may be less predictable but that doesn't necessarily lead to a more entertaining game.  Plus, in the last year or so he's been close to his best yet has produced some of the greatest tennis matches with Nadal.  As Scooter would say, the chase is better than the catch.

I want Fed to get back to his best. And then I want Murray to beat him Smile I feel that Murray is unlocking more and more of his potential and certainly can go on to dominate himself. I feel he has that ability, where as Nadal and Djokovic I think are at or close to the peak of their tennis skills.

The girls I’ve seen have all had shaved pits and well pruned lady gardens.

So it is not a subject that I have ever broached with them.

My last girlfriend did however compliment me on not having a hairy back and the smoothness of my skin.

I informed her that I was not a bloody silverback and that just because her previous partners had not evolved as far up the food chain as I had did not make hairy backs the norm.

I find it one of the most disgusting things for a girl not to take care of herself in that way. I could not have sex with a girl under those conditions.

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.

I'm glad Federer is over. Pete Sampras' record will stand for a bit longer! As well as John McEnroe's...

Federer dominating the sport without any realistic challengers is over but I'm not so sure I'd say "Federer is over" just yet.
I'm still confident that once he's fully over the effects of the glandular fever and is in tip top 100% condition, he'll bounce back and win 2 or 3 grand slams next year. He'll win the Olympic Gold Medal and the US Open this year IMO.

You honestly think he's still suffering from that?

Well I don't think he is yet in as good a condition as he was before he had it. It takes a long time. A friend of mine who was a football and cricket rep had it a few years ago and it screwed him for over a year in terms of fitness. He could play, but he couldn't perform anywhere near what he was capable of for ages. So maybe he doesn't appear physically sick but I'm sure he's not quite opertaing at full capacity so to speak.
It's probably fair enough to say he won't dominate the sport unchallenged anymore, but to write him off completely is just insane.

I think he'll drop out of the top 50 and will be playing Challengers next year.
