I don't know if I should be ashamed to say I almost cried after the game. If it wasn't over for us last week, it is now. 5 points clear just a month ago, and now 6 points behind. Top for so long and now getting an automatic CL spot isn't even our own hands anymore. Noone to blame. It was in our own hands. All we had to do was beat 2 or 3 awful teams in Wigan, Middlesbrough and Birmingham and we could have lost this game and still been very much in it. Bring on Liverpool in the CL now.

Not a chance. They won't drop another point this season now. Just too strong.

We Shall See. But I totally disagree. They will slip. And lose at The Bridge. Giving the title to Chelsea.

Not quite. You will still need someone else to beat them while not dropping another point yourself.

Man Utd are just too good right now. They are honestly awesome. Champions league? I think so.

Not so sure about that. I don't think there will be a premiership/CL double tbh. I do think the CL will be won by an English side, but not the same side who win the league. Just my feeling, that's all. United still have to beat Roma and Barcelona over 2 legs then Arsenal/Liverpool/Chelsea/Fenerbahce to win the CL. No easy games.

The league looks a much more straightforward task. You would expect them to avoid defeat against us at Old Trafford, and probably win comfortably given our form of late. Chelsea is the only other game where dropped points seem conceiveable. As long as they don't lose both those games, that's the title.

With the CL, they will probably beat Roma, although I wouldn't say it's guaranteed. Beating Barca over 2 legs is certainly no easy task, and then a one-off final can go either way.
With the draw, the semi finals look like being Arsenal/Liverpool vs Chelsea and Man Utd vs Barcelona. I'd like to say Arsenal of course, but that quarter final is the only one where the result doesn't seem obvious beforehand. With the CL being the only thing left for both sides to play for, there could be 2 cracking games there. And in fact, I will stick my neck out and say the winner of that one will go onto to win the final. Simply because, those are the only 2 teams of the 8 (apart from Shalke, but they will never beat Barcelona over 2 legs) no longer in a title battle and will now be 100% focussed on this. The other 3 probable semi finalists are going to be heavily focussed on winning the league as well, and I just think that might count against them in the CL. Or should I say hope rather than think? lol

I just saw somewhere that all Mascherano said to the ref was 'whats happening', no swearwords, no slagging him off, or anything! Its a joke!

He walked about 30 yards to argue with him and he's not the captain, he was told to go away, he's an idiot, he deserved a yellow card. Unfortunate for him it was his second. He harrassed the referee throughout the match.

Put it this way, anyone says one thing to an umpire in hockey, instant yellow card and off the pitch. They can as what was the foul for, but if they swear, they are off. Simple as.

Yeah, I agree about the Champions league Alex. Our game is the decider. Either Man U or Barca will reach the final and one of us!

It sucks that Mascherano was sent off for that, but it was coming anyway. He wouldnt have lasted much longer anyway. Every time, he was back chatting to the ref. It should never have happened in the first place, as Torres no way deserved a yellow for dissent!

He didnt swear. He asked why Torres had been booked. Does that deserve a yellow card?

What do you mean, neil? As it stands, there is no rule saying only captains can speak to the the ref, so whats wrong if he walked 30yards, and asked whats happening?
