Great Britain will take on Austria at home in September's Davis Cup World Group play-off match.

Team GB went into the draw unseeded after they dropped out of the World Group following their 4-1 loss to Argentina in February.

Andy Murray did not play in Buenos Aires but is expected to return for the tie against 15th-ranked Austria which begins on 19 September.

Meanwhile, Lloyd has announced he will stay as Davis Cup captain until 2011.

Murray promises to play at tie
Speaking from his Barcelona training camp, Andy said: "If I'm fit, I will play."

Ooh, at home. Make it somewhere they fly from Aberdeen. Birmingham again, or Manchester. Liverpool works too! Austria, that's Koubek and Melzer, with the formidable Knowle in dubs. Hmmm, not bad. Could be significantly worse. With Andy on side we have a great chance. And if we play indoor, we'll have Andy on side.

What you thinking Amy? I probably can't afford it. But it's worth a look...

Its still a while off yet.  If its somewhere easily to get to for you we should see if its do-able.  Pray it by Manchester or Liverpool and we'll have free accommodation Very Happy lol  Plus I want it to be near me because I want to take our Leo on the Saturday.  Don't fancy taking him away for a whole weekend if we had to go Birmingham or Wimbledon.

I'm sure he'll play a home tie.  Hes worshiped at home ties.  Imagine how unpopular that would make him if he missed it.

A home tie does make a difference. It is on the same side of the world as where he'll be around it.

Load of crap ignore

If Great Britan want to be respected in world tennis they should give up home advantage and play it in Austria, and if not then it should not be in front of the all the total fandangos down south.

Having said that if they win (and it is a big if ), can we have Germany in Düsseldorf next year please, that is well within easy commuting distance for us all yes
