Amazing final days play, how much better is it when Tiger doesn't dominate!

Great day. Just watched the end of it recorded from this morning. Really exciting finish. Gutted for Garcia, and it was very sad to see what happened to young Romero over the last 2 holes too.
Very pleased for Paddy though. Good to have major winner in the Ryder Cup team at last!

Lost in a play off.
He threw it away.
We finally have a European winner.
Congrats Harrington.

The Ryder Cup takes place every 2 years and therefore the next one is not until 2008 at Valhalla in the US. Teams won't be selected for a while yet.

Incidentaly, Nick faldo is joint leader after the first day's play at the Senior Open at Muirfield. Still people out though, but there you go.....
Also the Women's Open starts next week on the doorstep of my work..... Should be a busy week and will likely be working 5 or 6 days. Hopefully get a chance to see some of the ladies. Who knows....

World number 1, Ochoa leads by 6 shots after day 3, ahead of Linda Wessberg.

Good to see someone else following golf.
Garcia finished R1 on an even par round of 70 and Cabrera is on even par after 2. Els, Monty and Donald all finished 2 over par (+2) and Tiger finished +1.
The leader is currently John Daly on -3.

Excellent news, I was just about to switch channels to see that aswell
Excellent than Donald finished two over par, my brother is betting on him.
