Yep superb from Terry.
As for Rooney, well he looks like he is more fit than Owen tbh. Owen has been invisible in both games. Clearly nowhere near fit enough to be playing.

i agree. put crouch and rooney in the line p then bring owen on if rooney feels any discomfort. the lads sensible. if he feels like hes doing more damage than good he'll say. but stay with crouch. he's the one getting all the results.

impressed with lennon and downing. certainly great on the wing. keep carragher off and put lennon on. in my opinion anyway.

No, have to start with a proper back 4. Carragher was only sacrificed in desparation today. Having Lampard in stops us getting the best out of Gerrard as we have to force him into a more defensive role. Personally I'd like to see Sven have Michael Ballacks to bench ones of his big names and drop Lampard. Move Beckham across to the middle and put Lennon on the right. Beckham usually stays a bit deeper than most attacking midfielders/wingers anyway as he puts in crosses and through balls, rather than playing around the edge of the penalty area. Having him in the centre would allow Gerrard to get forward into the positions where he does the most damage. And he's been playing in the middle for Real Madrid anyway and considers it his best position himself. Have the balls to make a change Sven!
One thing is for sure, if Lennon played for Man Utd or Chelsea he'd be starting IMO.

The only good thing to come out of that game:

England may or may not have the best team man for man, but none of that matters when there's no team element to their play.
