I also want to take this opportunity to thank all my fans for their incredible support not only on home soil but also around the world. I’ve always found it amazing that wherever I’ve found myself on court I’ve always been able to find at least one British flag in the crowd and, regardless of the score, the support I’ve enjoyed has always been unwavering.
Hey guys, what’s up?So - you’ve probably heard the news today that Tim is going to be retiring after Davis Cup…Obviously Tim has been a massive part of British tennis over the last decade, and I just wanted to acknowledge that myself.I don’t think people fully realise what an amazing career Tim has had. If you make six Grand Slam semi-finals, four of them at Wimbledon, and get to four in the world, you’re pretty damn good. Nobody on the tour ever took Tim for granted that’s for sure. We’ve been really lucky to have him representing us, and I’ve been really lucky to have him as a teammate. He’s just been a legend as far as British tennis is concerned, and I hope that he stays involved in the future because we need people like him around.Cheers Tim, you’ll be missed…Andy
