You know where to come if you run out of the drugs
But then you could always see uncle Al - he's nearer!

Don't you just love those crazy Dutch
If I feel up to it I may go to the Netherlands tomorrow, but I won't be going near any coffee shops

Not had any cookies (hash or otherwise) for a while, yummy.
There are a lot of dutch who think that all British people act like teenagers especially in the Dam.
With all the smoking / Drinking / window shopping that they do, however I like to think of myself as a cultural ambassador so always behave impeccably and leave the more base pursuits to others
I've got a leaving do tomorrow night, but I don't think I go and if I do I wont be drinking or staying long as I'm still a bit off colour

And the Dutch will know that you're British how? Do you walk round with your Union Flag t-shirt on humming God Save the Queen?
Talking of Lizzie, we get to celebrate her birthday soon with a day off!

In Amsterdam they stand out a mile normally by their loutish behaviour.
But elsewhere the fashions we wear means you can normally spot them.
But if you ask for anything you are as good as wearing a sign.
The Dutch all speak perfect English but I always like to leave them with a wee "Dank je wel" to show I have appreciated there help

Ah, the Dutch - there are lots here and lots go on holiday to the canary islands (well the 3 I've been to - not been to Gran Canaria) and they are just lovely!
Oh, and how to tell the Brits here? The one's not walking around barefooted or with shorts and wellies on, or shopping in the supermarket with their pj's on or the best drivers (with their lights on in fog!)

my tennis club would batter yours!
Well good for you.....
I painted my great aunt's kitchen today and she tried to pay me £80 for doing so!! This is an old lady (86) living in a council flat!! I refused, but she is determined I take it when I come down next week to finish the job!
Feeling pretty good today though after last night's win!

Angry but not half as angry as my hubby will be when he finds out that someone has not sent parts to finish off our central heating being plumbed in!
Someone will regret speaking to him this morning!

To tell you the truth, it was a wad of £20 notes stuck together with an elastic band, so it could have been anywhere between £40 and £100!!
She did give me £40 for the paint but I cunningly "dropped" £20 on the sideboard and left it there.
And since my dad bought the paint and not me I'm £20 up! But he was going to pay me another £30 for petrol and labour, but I said it was fine.
Ain't I a nice boy! (damnit!!)
You'd think with the amount of debt I have I'd take any opportunity to grab hold of some funds

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.

Lol. I can see how that would be a problem...
Right now I'm super tired, slightly annoyed. Have to play tennis today, but I'm too tired to play well. I end up doing sill things like not moving my feet enough, bending my knees, hitting things that are still a foot off the ground at the baseline!!!
