My hip is all purple hahaha, the guy gave himself a concussion tho, serves him rite
Very painful eh? Know the feeling.
Had something similar last year in football. I went out to collect the ball at the egde of the box and had a bad collision with a guy who came flying in. Took his knee right in the side of the thigh early in the 1st half and although it hurt when it happened and I hobbled around for the rest of the half, I thought I'd walked it off by half time, got through the rest of the match and the rest of the day ok. Then the next morning I woke up in absolute agony. The bruising was unbelieveable lol. The side of my right leg was completely black and purple from pretty much my hip down to about 2 3rds of the way between hip and knee and it went round to my backside too. It was quite sickening to look at lol, and not to mention painful. Had to miss a month of the season, but I could hardly even move. Just standing up and trying to walk was agony. There's actually still a slight indent in the flesh where the knee went in. Only real injury I've ever had from sport I think. At least the only one that's made me miss games.

I feel depressed and happy at the same time. Had a great night with mates I hadn't seen last night for months but at the same time the girl i really like went back to her past experiences of previous bad relationships and the whole "i don't trust guys". Nothing much i can do about it except wait til she does, which isn't very likely. Sniff.

Lol, you don't try to be those things david, you either are or you aren't. If you have to change your personality to suit someone then that someone is not suitable.
But on that point, I am nice and i am trustworthy, there is nothing i can do with this girl except wait. It was some guy on a night out that put her off guys and it was some guy in her past that put her off guys in the first place. She knows I'm nice and i know she likes me she's just not ready for a relationship yet.
Thanks anyway david lol.

The party hat is from the Christmas crackers!
Surely?

I feel better than i did 20 minutes ago.
I realised that, while i;ve lost a nice girl, i;ve not lost anything else. That's teh worst thing that has happened to me this festive period. I have my friends, my family, my health, my money, a roof, good food, and good times. There;s millions upon millions of other people a lot worse off than me with worse things happening. sh*t happens, life is for living, enjoy it.
Mood: Happy.
