Apparently there's a bit of tension between these two. Liezel Huber is quoted in The Sunday Mail as saying that Jankovic said to her, "Jamie asked me first, so you're a second pick".
She also expressed disappointment that Jelena may want to team up with Jamie for the US Open. I love that these girls are fighting over Jamie. The world number 2 in singles and the world number 1 in doubles

Mieow. Jelena's had an injury hit season, but after throwing the toys out the pram when she got put on Court 18 has put me right off her. What a biatch..... Stick with Liezl, Jamie!

As pointed out elsewhere would Nadal EVER be put on Court 18? I think not. She was the 2nd seed.

Yes I know this, but it's not a show court was my point. Nadal would still never be put outside 1 and centre was my point.

That's your opinion. They put the main matches on the main courts, the matches that draw the most interest. Seeding doesn't enter into it.
