I prefer style and touch over power and endurance.

I don't mind them in any player, except if the main component of their game is that. Nothing more about Nadal then anyone else! Although i do have a tendency to prefer non Spaniards in all sports. I have a similar thing with Australians and Americans.

Na, nothing racial, I just really hate Australians, because of their personalities, as well as because they're so bloody good at most sports! Americans i hate, like a lot of other people, because of their obnoxious personalities, their total ignorance of anything outside the USA and other reasons. Spaniards is more difficult to explain, but i just don't like most of them in individual sports, not all, but most. I think it stems from my dislike of Fernando Alonso and Nadal.

You're right, there are some, but generally not. Half of my family live in America, so i obviously don't hate them all! For example Blake and Roddick i like, and Gilchrist i like, but mostly...

Its not so much the loudness i dislike, more the shallowness, idiocy, and ignorance. I particularly like Roddick because of his brilliant press-conferences!
Getting back to the styles of play, I'm amazed anyone prefers strength and endurance over style, elegance, touch etc. I understand the girls like him for his looks (although i can't really understand what they see in him - to me he looks plain ugly!), but for the tennis, na...

Ah, I didn't realise you meant a drubbing from me, i thought you meant in some sporting way! Anyway, I'm not saying there aren't exceptions, but i've found generally these things to be true with most of them...

My father lives there, and I've got a married brother who lives there, and a lot of cousins, but you're right, I wouldn't want to live there. Short visits are all right though...
Anyway, this has all got really

Dana on this board really dislike Nadal
I wonder why among all others, my name pops up.
Actually, I sometime like Nadal when he gives an interview, but many times I find him irritating (bouncing of the ball 5643 times) and I also don't think he's genuinely modest.

What I really like about Rafa is that he never gives up, he loves fighting and often makes wonderful points that are not a frequent phenomena for the other players.
And I don't think he hits the ball so powerfully as you're saying - the opposite- he dislikes the rapid surfaces and the players with powerful strokes that's why he's so efficient on claycourts.
And, Dana, about his interviews - they make me like him even more.
