If BBC don't get the rights then it could make things really lame... please BBC, use our money for something great for once!

Anyone know how the arena will compare in size to Wimbledon centre court? It looks pretty damn big.

Much bigger capacity with 20,000 seats around an indoor hard court. It's gonna be massive!!! Wimbledon centre will be 13,800 after improvements. Arthur Ashe at US Open is 22,500 so more like that!

This is the vision for 2012:
This is the arena currently:
As a concert venue it holds 23,000. Obviously the tennis setup will decrease that.

I thought Wimbledon Centre was gonig to be 15,000 after the develoments.
Yes it is.

The Centre Court’s capacity will be increased from 13,800 spectators to 15,000 by the addition of six rows of seating to the upper tier on three (east, north and west) sides.

Barclays to Sponsor ATP World Tour Finals From 2009
The ATP, governing body for the men's professional ATP tennis circuit, today announced that Barclays will be the title sponsor of the ATP World Tour Finals from 2009.
As part of the 2009 restructuring of men’s tennis, the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals will replace the Tennis Masters Cup, currently held in Shanghai’s Qi Zhong Tennis Center, as the ATP Tour’s season finale. The Barclays ATP World Tour Finals will be held in London’s O2 Arena in November 2009 and will feature the world’s best 8 singles players and 8 doubles teams competing to become the number one player of the year.
The 5 year deal includes the option to extend to eight years and is worth around ₤3.5 ($7) million a year.
