Might as well have a thread on this... LTA coach, Peter Lundgren, has been given a leave of absence after apparently being drunk and getting into a heated exchange with the other coaches.

Britain's davis Cup coach Peter Lundgren is in danger of losing his job after his less than fluent performance at a key Lawn Tennis Association conference last weekend.

It has been claimed by onlookers that Swede Lundgren was slurring his words in a questionand-answer session in front of more than 300 coaches at the LTA's Roehampton headquarters.

Josh Goodall was basically blaming his defeat on LTA telling him 1O mins before the start of the match monday his coach wouldn't be there...this after he (PL) went AWOL at Queens  doh Anyway LTA say he'll be back in a month for Davis Cup... Think can't see it

I was upset. My head wasn't there. He's not just my coach, he's my friend.

I was so disappointed and angry [with the LTA]. The timing was absolutely disgraceful.
