Britain's Andy Murray pulled off the biggest win of his young career as he stunned top seed Andy Roddick in the SAP Open semi-finals in San Jose.. A stunning victory by Murray that sees him through to his second ATP final - this time against Lleyton Hewitt. Sunday's final is sure to be a classic battle - and who would dare predict the winner. - ellyb (mw member) The 18-year-old Scot reached his second ATP tour final with a 7-5 7-5 victory over the former US Open champion. Roddick, 23, was looking for a hat-trick of victories in the event. But Murray broke him in the 11th game of both sets to book a final date with Lleyton Hewitt, who beat American Vincent Spadea 6-3 6-4 in his semi. Afterwards Murray said: I was almost a little sick because of nerves but in the end I came through.
That was definitely my biggest win. Beating Roddick in his home country is like a dream come true.
I have so much respect for a guy like Roddick. He's achieved so much, it's great just to be on the court with him. To beat him is amazing.
I was a little nervous, but I have a little more experience against the best players now.
I'm looking forward to playing Hewitt. Now that I've won against a top ranked player it gives me that extra bit of confidence that I can do it. - Full Story (bbc.co.uk) |

Yeah she does Banannie but it's needed. I tried saying stuff on the BBC message board a few months ago delibretly so they would quote me on the frontpage. They did both times.
