Nothing would pass in my school... last year there was like a term bulletin and at the end of it said that 'pupils are not allowed to take time off school for Wimbledon.'  ranting It's an acual RULE. And they single it out so much...  no
I've been pretty good though.. Rolling Eyes Only once.

Lol, my school would never say anything like that - because it's primarily a girls school, they think we're not interested i guess Rolling Eyes But i am planning to be really quite ill, the few weeks of Queens and Wimbledon  Wink

Mine's a girls only school aswell.. and tennis isn't even popular at the school. I think people only know a bit about it  after i did my english GCSE Oral thingy on Andy Murray. At first people didn't even know who he was.  shocking And still don't... really.

I'm planning on being ill too.  Whistle Not sure how im going to force that on my parents... but im working on it.
But that school rule is ridiculous.  pullhair No one cares.. everyone still goes to their cricket, football... etc.

Lol, same here..... no-one really likes tennis at ma school Rolling Eyes Actually, not many people in my year follow much sports  Think Although a few people got really into the Ashes Whistle

And good luck with the parents!..... i think i might be able to sneak out, without my Dad noticing!!  goodjob

I have taken a few days off school for Wimbledon.  Haven't got tickets this year so am going to have to be at school for the whole 2 weeks. ranting

Well there are the few football fantatics and couple of mad cricketers... otherwise no one's interested. Im probably the only one that has a clue about tennis.  dontknow No one likes to watch sport. Frown
