Well.. Josh you've got some excellent opinions there.
One of my great reasons for not liking Roman Abramovich - has nothing to do with football. But the hate spreads to football aswell.
Baisically.. he grew up as a poor boy in a small village in Russia. His mother and father being pretty much peasants. I don't know the straight facts.. but when Roman grew up - he was handed a billion contract to become the head of "Sib Neft" - Russian oil company. This company (which was unnofficial) provided him billions of dollars - which were all stolen during the years when the Soviet Union fell apart.
It sounds mad.
But all these squilions stolen (when i say billions it is a huge under statment of reality) lead to pretty much what there is in Russia today.. poverty, corruption, black mail and all the other horrible things no country wants.
It probably seems like a powerful country under the shadow of Europe.. but under the surface it's awfull. Politics, religion and every day life decided to mix.. that's when things went wronge.
I just see no reason why people should respect him. Although this is my opinion, please oppose freely.

Lets face it, they have arguably the best manager in the world at the helm. Essien was way too much money. And to be honest, I dont think they will win the Champions League. Im going to go for a Barcelona vs Lyon final

look at celtics european cup winning side-=all from within 50 miles of glasgow, or the busby babes and the subsequent side with man u in it.even look at the present hibs side who i think play some of the most enteratining football in britain at the moment.all made with very little money.however it is certainly the case that you need money for success 95% of the time

Well done Annie!!
I'm still learning.
Febuary 20th seems pretty far away. Judy better keep an eye out... at the end of the day he's still a teenager!
