The biggest match in the tennis calender has arrived once again. Will Mark suffer yet another crushing blow in straight sets or will he end Toms unbeaten run over mark which has lasted since the beggining of mankind? Mark has all the advantages as Tom is using marks spare racket and has a sprained ankle however the bookies favourite is still Tom. Its a sellout crowd and looks like it will be yet another classic game! good luck Markie

We are playing on that annoying fast and bouncy court which means you sort of have the advantage with your blistering serve and tallness... But I will prevail!

Mark My reason.. we have similar game play Keep those long rallies going... don't fall for those darn volleys [my dad pulled about 100 of them yesterday on me] And shoot those strong forehands and back hands at him down the line. Tom.. be scared!!!

Hmm it's just very bouncy and Tom being pretty tall uses that to try and slam the ball at annoying angles. His serve is really hard to return on it as well.
I will try and get some rallies going and probably target his backhand which is easily his biggest weakness.

slicing the serve is an acceptable strategy. slowballing big hitters does work... usually they eat pace off the ground but if u slice the ball (therefore dropping it) he'll have a hard time getting low enough and he won't be able to generate as much pace.

if tim can beat lleyton, mark can beat tom! btw draw him into the net and then lob him as many times as possible... just to tiere him out.

I just hope it's not windy, I can lose to the worst possible player in those conditions.

I think keep to the strong forehands and put some spin on if end up at the net. =D>
Is Tom a fast runner?

He moves about pretty well, I'm also a fast mover though.
Wish we were playing on slow courts, I'd be really confident to win then today.
I think physically I'm fitter than he is right now (just a guess) so 5 setter may work to my advantage.
