It goes on last week's results, and if necessary, the most correct number of matches (set and player, then player) I would imagine (but that's only if they tied last week as well)

I.e. if by some mircale I catch up, I get the 10 points. Or if Josh is still in there, he will get the 10 points.

Actually that's a good point. Just for the organisers, say for example, me and josh tie this week. I obviously, by the rules get the most points, he gets the next.
Now, say we tie again next week. I don't think it;s fair if you go by the last tournament, because although I got the points, we DID tie. So in this incredibly unlikely scenario, of two people tying two or more weeks in a row, you should then go to most correct matches (exact scores first, then players)

And then what if they tied that?!

Most correct matches on day 1, day 2, day 3, day 4 ..... or vice versa.

You can always just look at the exact points they scored the tournaments before (and didn't end in the top 8) like 36 points, etc.

yeah, that's not a problem. It should NEVER be taken from the finishing postion, but the points anyway. Cause say for example Josh and I tied on 64 pts last week. I;d get the 10 due to winning Doha. Now... say we tie this week, if they just looked at who got the points, then it'd be unfair because we actually tied the week before. That was my point.
