Henman started all of this. He must have been paid to bottle the Wimbledon Semis!

He looks the greedy type though.

That quote made me laugh, he looks anything but greedy, Skelator lives.

This just makes me dislike him more than I did already. He's such a nothing! Does he realise no-one would blink if he very steadily and steeply just fell off the rankings table?

I started to dislike him when he said some lame things about Murray in US Open 2006... forgot what it was now but it wasn't needed.

Yeah might be, he was basically playing Murray down before his match with him.

Nadal saying that "this kind of thing doesn't go on in tennis", is basically calling Novak a liar as he was one of the guys that said he had been approached to throw a match, wonder what Novak thinks of that statement.  Think

Yeah it was.

Davydenko said: We know already that Federer should have retired before Cincinnati because when he won the event in Toronto (the previous week), I heard from his girlfriend that he was not going to play Cincinnati, so I am surprised that he went there and not surprised that he lost, because when Federer wants to play, he doesn't lose to anybody.

Now I think Murray has to beat me to get to the quarterfinals and then maybe (Marat) Safin to play Federer in the semi-finals. If he beats Federer this time then, yes, he really is a player who can be a grand-slam champion. I am feeling great, I think the style of Murray suits me. I will try to play faster against him.

I guess it's a fair comment but it's not exactly what you expect from a professional tennis player when they talk about their opponent in a pre-match interview.

I think the problem is Andy said something everyone understood and of which everyone knew it wasn't to be taken too literally, but some players liked to take advantage of the way he chose his words to make Andy look bad. It's such a typical technique, it shows weakness. Rolling Eyes

And it's not quite like Nadal and Davydenko were accusing Andy, they were more protecting themselves as they were obviously intimidated by the risky words of Murray. Think

For me, the one who dares to say things so openly, isn't involved, just not naïve whereas Nadal and Davy fought those words, they are more likely to be suspicious.

The Times reports it as Davydenko accusing Murray of being corrupt.
