Andy Murray is confident of making a big impact at Wimbledon this year and realistically believes he can win the event with the help of consistency.

I think I serve-volley better than most of the guys on the tour, even on a clay court.

If I can bring that to my game on the grass and make sure I continue to play aggressively but with a little margin for error, keep going for my returns and serve like I did for the last couple of matches, there's no reason why I can't go far in the tournament.

Winning it is going to be unbelievably tough with the quality of players around. But it's more a matter of consistency rather than my game not being strong enough.

If I can keep up my best game for six, seven matches then it's possible.

Murray insists he can handle the pressure
I haven't felt the pressure in the past and I don't plan on letting it affect me now.

I want to win Wimbledon. Everybody else wants me to win it as well, I'm sure. So I put a lot of pressure on myself to do well.

I get unbelievable support at Wimbledon, better than I do anywhere else in the world.

Regardless of whatever anyone else says or thinks it doesn't make a difference to the way you play on court.

If you look at the way Tim (Henman) played at Wimbledon, how he did it, personally I don't think it looked like it affected him either.

Murray ready for Queens
I can't take four or five days off, I want to get back on the court and get ready for the grass.

I've obviously missed it. Queen's is actually one of my favourite tournaments on the tour. Outside of the Grand Slams it's a beautiful tournament.

I'll do my best to get ready for that and use it as preparation for Wimbledon.

The positives of losing in Paris are that I have a decent amount of time to work physically and get myself ready for Queen's.

Good to hear, might as well let him build up the hype then - the media will love it! Very Happy

It's so true though, right now he has the game to win Wimbledon, the only reason Nole is a Grand Slam winner and Murray isn't is purely down to consistency.

I felt with Brad we saw a huge improvement in consistency, the best of his career, so we at least know it is possible.

Give his all in every match, play to win, motivation, keep focused.  Shouldn't be too hard for him if hes the player we know he is.

It is easy, thats how I made my way to the top but I retired because I was making every other player look bad and it wasn't fair Whistle

Er, he is one of the best serve and volleyers on the tour.  He's not the only one saying that.  Just the other day Mats Wilander said that Andy has the best hands since McEnroe.

We saw it initially against Karlovic (still one of his best performances this season) and we saw it against Almagro.  His returns and his ground strokes let him down in that match.  Serve and volley kept him in it, if you go back and watch the BPs he saved.

I guarantee he'll fall before the QF. Might make 4th round of he's very lucky.
