Andy Murray showed all his fighting qualities as he recovered from the brink of defeat to see off Rainer Schuettler in Memphis.
The 18-year-old looked set to lose in his first outing since winning the San Jose title as he dropped serve twice in the opening set.
Schuettler served for the match at 5-4 in the second but Murray converted his second break point and took control.
Terrific fighting spirit and a nice way to come back from a tournament win, shows a real desire to keep the momentum going.

He reeled off nine of the last 11 games for a 1-6 7-5 6-2 victory.
I did feel like I was having a lot of chances but I was making a few too many mistakes and at 5-4, when it got to 30-30, that extra confidence that I got from San Jose helped me.
Murray will face second seed Nicolas Kiefer or Jonas Bjorkman in the second round.
