Andy Murray has arrived in London to begin two weeks of fitness training before the pair head to South Africa as part of the 18-year-olds preparations for the Australian Open, which starts in Melbourne on 15 January.
Ever since Murray reached the third round of Queen's Club in June, he has been criticised for his fitness and stamina levels.
Murray revealed, at the inaugural Aberdeen Cup between England and Scotland on Saturday, recent medical tests he underwent in France showed the cramping problems were linked to a nerve problem in his back and had nothing to do with his fitness.
Murray said:
When I was in France they told me I was in good shape and the cramping was because I had a very weak back. I now know what to do to combat it. Cramping will not be a problem in the future and my back will be strong and okay in Australia.
Murray will play at tournaments in Auckland and Adelaide prior to the first major championship of 2006.
