Andy Murray is among a list of newcomers to a poll of the 100 most influential men in Britain

Tory leader, David Cameron, took the top spot in the poll compiled by GQ magazine, due to his ability to influence.

Newcomer Murray came in at 87th ahead of Scottish First Minister, Alex Salmond, who lags behind at 89th. Others featured included media head James Murdoch, BBC director Mark Thompson and actor Sir Ian McKellan.

The list will appear in the March edition of GQ magazine, available on February 7th.

Andy Murray is certainly powerful in the sense he can decide if GB should have a chance at winning in DC or not. Well, you know what they say, power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely. lol
