He didn't need to admit to anything - he apparently quoted Andy in context back in 2005 and therefore had no moral obligation to clarify Murray's comment since then. The person who actually needs to set things straight is Tony Parsons, he is the guy who intentionally fabricated the anti-English story based on Murray's joke. Des Kelly is completely innocent and we owe him a debt of gratitude for coming out with this story. |
