Andy Murray is into the third round of the Cincinnati Masters after defeating Sam Querrey 7-6 6-1.

The Scot had a slow start, losing his opening service game to love and slipping 3-0 down in the opening set. But Murray eventually found his form, playing several outstanding lobs, as he took the first set to a tie-break which he won 7-3.

The 21-year-old then dominated the second set by going 4-0 up. Querrey had no answers to Murray allowing him to finish off the match, 7-6 6-1.

Andy Murray now takes on Richard Gasquet or Dimitry Tursunov for a quarter-final spot.

I have played Tursunov three times and beaten him three times and he is a slightly more erratic player.

I have played Gasquet three times and only beaten him the once, at Wimbledon.

tursunov should be interesting. last time muzza beat him was on clay and tursunov might as well not bother on clay.

im saying muzza in three, tursunov looked very hot against gasquet last night.
