Once again the fates have not been kind for Andy Murray as the draw for Madrid has proved to be a tough one.
Murray will face Czech Radek Stepanek in the first round with the possible third round against Rafael Nadal looming. However, in order to get there Andy will also have to see off Argentinian Juan Ignacio Chela who already has a bye to the second round.
This is the first time Andy has been unseeded for a Masters series event since this time last year and this draw only highlights the benefits of that all important p16.
Stepanek, current world no-35 hasn't played Murray since he was dismissed in 3 sets in the second round of Wimbledon 2005.
