I think it has been said enough times in the other thread that some people are annoyed by what members on here say after he loses, I agree with that, but there's no need to start attacking them in other threads on every occasion.

I wasn't attacking Mark.  I was disagreeing with his opinion and giving my own.  If I gave the impression I was having a go at him personally then I apologise that wasn't my intention and I hope Mark knows that.

topcat, you are right im my opinion.

Andy does not deserve the comments Mark and others give him. Especially after the last few weeks of wonder.

That's great, I respect your opinion as I hope you do of mine.

Of course.  I apologise if you thought I was attacking you, I'm not and I hope you realise that.

I don't think he does deserve some of the comments which is why I'm being so vocal about it, glad you agree

No, it wouldn't have. But, he'd be up to 9th in the race, instead of 10th...

I think it's fair to say that we'd just got so excited and got our hopes up at the prospect of him going that we were just gutted when it really was the FINAL hurdle he fell at. Hee won the middle set 6-0, he won more games and more points in the match. We know he can do better than he did and, as fans, we just want him to realise that potential consistantly so we get to celebrate the big occasions, not talk about how much he's achieved through disappointment.

And he might have been more likely to think about heading out as first alternate. Especially considering the Roddick rumours. I think it's a wise decision not to go. To disturb his year end training for a sniff at Shanghai this year when we know he's gonna have plenty more oppertunities in years to come would have been a bit silly.
