Andy Murray is upbeat ahead of his Wimbledon quarter-final match against Rafael Nadal on Wednesday.

Murray is second out on Centre Court with play starting at 1PM, however heavy rain is predicted for the day.

I have worked hard enough to be able to last these sort of matches every other day.

I'm gonna have to try to recover, make sure that I get enough food in me, enough sleep, try and prepare, the best that I can for the match with Nadal. Obviously he's the favorite for the match. But I do think that I can win.

I think both of our games have changed a bit since then (Australian Open, 2007). He's definitely playing better on grass than he was in previous years. I like to think I'm playing a bit better. It's going to be a completely different match to a year and a half ago.

I have to look at the guys that have given him trouble and the way that Tsonga played against him in Australia this year. It's really important to serve well, be aggressive, not give him a chance to start dictating the rallies, you know, is the game plan against him.

Tim Henman, former British no-1, has tipped Murray to beat Nadal in five sets.

Centre Court Schedule
1 Gentlemen's Singles - Qtr. Finals
Roger Federer (SUI)[1] v. Mario Ancic (CRO)

2 Gentlemen's Singles - Qtr. Finals
Andy Murray (GBR)[12] v. Rafael Nadal (ESP)[2]

I'm afraid to say but yesterdays game against Gasquet was a very poor match played by both players. Andy would have not won it, had Gasquet not made more mistakes then Andy. The score of unforced errors was 37 by Gasquet and 41 for Andy. This tells the real story of this sad match. If Andy plays like this against Nadal it will be a very short game in three short sets for Nadal. The perception of the British audience about Andy's capabilities is totally of track and tomorrow will prove it. Sorry Crying or Very sad.

You're entitled to your opinion but I totally disagree with everything you say.   Sad match? Think you are in a minority of 1 on that comment.   Hope you won't be crying over Rafa tomorrow - or do I really mean hope you will be crying? Very Happy

Half the time the match contained inconsistent and poor play, but then the other half contained absolutely fantastic jaw dropping tennis. We just need to hope for the latter to be more consistent tomorrow.

I think he is the favorite because he is two-times finalist and Queen's champion.

Well done Simon2, you were the only one to make an accurate prediction. You might have been in a minority of one, but the majority got this one completely wrong! They were all crying over Murray! To suggest that Murray is in the same league as truly great players like Federer and Nadal is laughable! The superb Rafa proved that by dispatching Murray with so little effort!
