The match is third on Centre Court, after former champion Maria Sharapova takes on American Amy Frazier.
Most of the crowd on day six of the Championships will be eagerly awaiting Murray's clash with twice former finalist Roddick, which could be on court as England take on Portugal in their World Cup quarter-final.
Murray said:
I think he's definitely the big favourite to win on Saturday having been to the final of Wimbledon twice.
