I don't think he's talking about him speaking about his mum in the past. I think Andy is daring him so say something else about his mum there and then Lorna. Because DP already said something about his mum and that got Andy angry.
That's exactly what I think he is doing, yes.

Fair enough. But JMDP obviously has a problem with Andy that goes well beyond this match!

I dont think so. I just remember del potro hitting his shot at Murray and Murray more or less fell backwards adjusting so he can hit his shot - Murray won the point anyway. It's like he wobbled. Del Potro is allowed to do that but it shows a lack of sportsmanship. Thats all that happened

But with DP saying 'you're always the same' as if it were an insult. That's what makes me think it goes further. And his willingness to jump straight to an attack on Judy from pretty much nothing. I don't know. You're maybe right but I just feel like we were walking into the middle of an established argument.

JMDP is an argentinian remember. They tend to be assh**es.
Just in case in argentines read this, or anyone who's easily offended, I'm talking about the tennis players. And this has been seen in the past.

Very true. Good point. If you got a look at the video it's pretty clear he was stirring the pot...

Potro: You are always the same hey? You never change.

Potro: And your mother, she's the same always.

Not much of an insult but he's saying Murray hasn't changed. Maybe he's saying he hasn't improved? Not sure what the intent is behind the Judy comment

You my friend post like a girl.

I thought that towards the end of the second set Andy was accusing Del Porto of getting coaching from the stands and that started it all off and it just continued into the break.
If Judie used to coach Andy and Del Porto thought he was being wrongly accused of cheating why not point out that Andy could also be receiving coaching from his Mum.
Still it was a good work out even if it did start a little late.

None of the press have said what was said in this heated exchange, it seems MurraysWorld is the only place with a transcript. Maybe the press consider it such a mild insult that it's better to not quote it.

I think DP was referring to "always been the same" Andys moaning maybe? It's also well documented that Judy has been heard using the same four letter word as Andy.

That makes more sense, yeah. It's also well documented that Judy has been heard using the same four letter word as Andy.
I wasn't aware of this
