Andy Murray is set to join team GB in their holding camp in Vina Del Mar this week in preperation for their Davis Cup tie against Argentina in two weeks time.

While Jamie Baker and Jamie Murray entered the singles qualifying for the ATP tournament held this week in Vina Del Mar, Andy chose to spend a little more time at home before flying out to join the team in training.

John Lloyd has said:

I'm hoping Andy is coming out to get some good practice and matches with the other guys.
Lloyd has scheduled a number of exhibition matches on clay courts in conditions similar to those which the team will face in Buenos Aires on 8th-10th February. It is hoped that this preperation will give the team much-needed match practice before the extremely difficult tie.

Yes and no. I've figured out the logic here. If he played this tournament he'd probably still be in it at the weekend. The other guys are out already! I think that's where the spending time with the team thing comes into it.
