Andy Murray will take on Paolo Lorenzi in the first round of the Adelaide International today. Andy will be fourth out on Centre Court not before 2:00AM GMT, so sometime after 4:30AM GMT - discuss here. Live Scores (unconfirmed possible locations): TBWSport.com | LiveScore.com | ScoreStand.com. Source: BBC Andy Murray will open his 2006 campaign against a qualifier at the Adelaide International, with Lleyton Hewitt a possible quarter-final opponent. The 18-year-old Scot is preparing to make his competive debut in Australia as he looks for a strong start to 2006. Murray said: I've been practising in South Africa where it was 25 degrees and now I've come here and yesterday was like the hottest day in ten years for me. Murray will take on a qualifier in the first round, with Agustin Calleri or Tomas Berdych waiting in round two and potentially Hewitt in the last eight. He said: The qualifiers are supposedly the weakest in the draw but they've already got three matches under their belt and got used to the hot weather.
This is a very tough tournament and I'll have to win many matches before there is a chance of playing Hewitt. - Full Story (bbc.co.uk)Related: - Murray ready to hit ground running (telegraph.co.uk)- Murray sets sights on top 20 (sportinglife.com)

Oohhh! The excitement mounts! What about Calleri - he is ranked higher than Andy.... then, maybe, a re-match with Berdych.. =D>

Ah yes, the good old magic tippex.. Great article from the Telegraph... love the last bit! Hewitt has been a Grand Slam champion, led his country to two Davis Cup victories and been world No 1 - ambitions which Murray has presumably pencilled in for 2007.

Wait a second.....the first time I read that article i swear it said he was playing doubles too to get match practise in - absolute rubbish according to the draw.....and then i went back to check that I hadn't misread the article and the bit on doubles had gone..... Maybe I've starting seeing things.....

Maybe I've starting seeing things..... For me it's still there will also play doubles this week in the hope of getting even more time on court And I'm confused.... 'cause as you said, he isn't in the doubles according to draw http://www.atptennis.com/en/common/TrackIt.asp?file=/posting/2006/339/mdd.pdf (Doubles draw)

YEY! Thank god! I though i was going mad there for a minute! Its definitely disappeared for me - I've just reread the article three times in an effort to prove that I hadn't completely lost the plot! Very strange....maybe they've caught the BBCs rather severe case of magic tippex....

Guess what?! "Mark warned me it was going to be hot but he didn't tell me we'd have the hottest weather here for about 10 years," said Murray, will also play doubles this week in the hope of getting even more time on court. Its back!

How bizarre. Needs the magic tippex badly... and even if they don't take that bit out, they could at least do it properly and put a "who" in... "said Murray, will also play doubles".
