Not great. Got an absolutely shocking draw in the doubles playing two boys who were as good as my partner. Not good when I was way way way below their level. No surprise we lost that 6-1 6-1.

Next up was my handicap match, where I played some of the worst tennis of my life and lost 6-1 6-2. Very very bad. Also didn't play sudden death deuce, (both of us forgot the handicap rules). We went to deuce like 10 times, so for all I know, I could have won the first point the majority of those games and that would have changed the match!!

Saved my best tennis for the 4th seed in the open singles. Told him before the match it would just be a warm up for him and he would win 6-0 6-0. I then totally screwed up in the warm up and thought I was gonna have another nightmare.

Started the first game and played some of the best tennis ever! Won it on his serve to love Very Happy   cmon yeah He won the next 12 games after that, but there were a few deuces and long rallies. Made my week. If I had played that well in the doubles or the handicap we might still be in! Shame I saved it for a match I was never winning. lol

Yeah totally. I was thinking after the handicap that I would quit and not come back next year, but after the way I played in the Open singles I put it down to nerves and plan on challenging for the handicap title next year Smile It's a lovely tournament.

It's on the skysports website and not listed on there, nor on the TV listings on Virgin..... original plan may have been to see what the match was going to be....... Maybe only putting it on because it's Murray?

Probably just been changed on Sky itself and no where else Smile Thanks Mark

I hope so too - but the way Andy is playing, Nole will have him for breakfast.  I do't think I can stay up to watch it - yawn - got a golf tie (QF) to play at 10am tomorrow Rolling Eyes

I say Nole it two sets - maybe one with a tie-break. Frown

Murray has won 10 games in the last 3 matches he has played against Djokovic. i think that says all that needs to be said about his chances. If he manages 2 games a set i think he can be satisfied with his performance.

Evening, fuzzy.  Your boy let you down badly at SW19. Let's hope for your sake he's recovered sufficiently to at least make a match of it.
