Wimbledon R2 : Murray vs Malisse
« on: June 24, 2008, 07:58:47 PM »
Murray takes on Xavier Malisse in the second round of Wimbledon 2008.
If Murray continues with the form he had against Santoro then it's Murray in 3 for me

Murray in 3. I reckon this is an easier match up that Santoro!

Sometimes these fuzzy posts make sense. But this one?
"Looks good" based on what?
The way he walks?
The direction the crows are flying?
The predictions of Aztec priests?
Let's have some supporting argument, please ...

As for an argument - he can't do that
Back o the match - have they met before at all?
I'll go for Murray in 3. Sadly, another one I can't be around for - bloody schedule!

I THINK (and one of you tennis experts correct me if I'm wrong ... )
... they met just after Andy's Bangkok special in 2005.
It wasn't an ATP tourney, Malisse won the first set narrowly, then Andy pulled out due to injury concerns.
So sort-of-yes, sort-of-no.

They've never played on tour but have played in the Mons Challenger event in 2005 where Murray retired in the second set.
