Analysis.....

First two sets - Excellent, was very happy with what I saw. Didn't see the opening 7 games but wtached from there.

Third set - sloppy. A lot of errors particularily near the end, but I think he was maybe thinking he had one it, tightening up a bit, relaxing too soon. All in all a good victory over a potentially tricky opponent. He has in my opinion an easier match to look forward too next, such is his draw until the quarter finals. Hopefully he can make that no bother now. Smile

Mark, I've just been watching the replay and we misinterpreted what Tim said about Murray's team.  He said Murray covers all expenses and costs when they travel with him.  We took that to mean travel costs, but really that's not what he said.  He said Andy "takes care of all expenses and costs" when they travel with him and that the LTA do that when they're not working with Andy.

Compared with most of Andy's matches (which are nerve-wracking affairs of wasted opportunities and squandered advantages, peppered with moments of genius) I thought almost all of that match was a joy to watch.

This was one of Andy's most captivating, with both players mixing brilliance with cheekiness ... it helped the nerves, of course, that Andy never really looked liked losing.

{Incidentally, I seem to remember watching a fantastic match in which Santoro beat Sampras. It would have been one of the best of the year, but I have no idea what year (or decade lol) that would have been. Is that just my imagination, or my mad dreamworld, or is anyone else here that old? old}

Brilliant from Eaton, and a good comeback from Anne K yesterday clap, though felt sad for Katie.

Elena's up at 12.00 on Court 2.

Is Fluffy a softer version of Mark, or is he just shopping for avatars in the same place? - I see flesh, I assume 'Mark' - it is confusing me...

Fluuffy - soft? - don't know about that!  As for shopping with Mark, I just like flesh, same as Mark. Don't think we shop in the same place - sorry to confuse you Nads.

Anyway, well done for Andy and Chris into the second round!.
