Andy Murray will be a guest on 'The One Show' which airs on BBC1, Monday 16 June 7PM. The Scot will be on the show to give an update on his thumb injury which he received in the third round of Queens on Friday. The show will be available to watch again via the BBC iPlayer website after it has aired on BBC1. YouTube (1 video)
http://www.youtube.com/v/PICs-073A0o&rel=1In other newsRafael Nadal has tipped Andy Murray as one of the favourites to win Wimbledon. On the grass court he is one of the favourites. Can Andy challenge me, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic? I think he can. Why not? He's a very good player.

They just said it at the end of today's show. Said something like "We'll have Andy Murray and find out about his thumb situation".

I thought about this when i read something in his book. He says he hates the 'celebrity idea' and would not be seen with cameras in his face, and that he prefers a normal quiet life outside tennis. So, why go on jonny ross, and now this?

More appearances on TV, more people will buy his book.
Or he is simply doing it as he feels it is his obligation as our no-1 tennis player which I personally think it is.

And with it being around Wimbledon time too. I don't think he'd normal do this type of stuff at any other time of year, unless he wins a major title.

Jonothan was never going to allow it to be advertised much, he might actually feel quite embarrassed that someone that young has an autobiography and they are plugging it on his show.

I'm sure he's doing it for the money, and why not? I sure as hell would.
