Goran Ivanisevic believes Andy Murray will quickly find his form when he returns from his injury hell. The Scot is almost certain to miss the Los Angeles event that starts next Monday but is expected to make his return at the Washington event a fortnight later.
Being injured will have been very tough for him. It will have seemed like the end of the world.
The longest spell I had injured was one year, with my shoulder, and it was very difficult.
But Murray was in very good form before the injury and it won’t take him long to rediscover that. He is a great player and I also like him as a person very much.
The 2001 Wimbledon champion also thinks
Murray could be dangerous for the US Open this year and believes he can beat anyone but Federer.
