I feel that sometimes this website loses the plot.
The fact that only 19 out of an alleged 1000+ members have bothered to vote on the contentious poll on this issue says a lot.

Tim would never have pulled out of the Davis Cup. He was loyal and committed for years. Murray has made his feelings clear before about the Davis Cup. He sees himself as Scottish - not British. He shouldn't pis* off the British public because he will need our support if he wants to win Wimbledon. On the other hand, I agree with the person who said what is the point of Murray wasting his time by playing when we're going to lose anyway.

justinfiller, I wouldn't say he actually needs our support for him to win Wimbledon but it certainly would help.

I don't believe you!  You would rather Andy went to Argentina, played with a dodgy knee, make it worse and miss out on most of the season just to prove he is committed to playing for Britain in the Davis Cup. Get real!   What is being Scottish got to do with it?  It seems its a crime on this site now.  Remarks like that just prove what a bigot you are.   You are calling not only Andy Murrray a liar but also John Lloyd who knows how committed Andy is.    As for your remarks about Wimbledon, I take it that Andy isn't allowed to be injured and if he is, stuff it he must play to prove he is British.  Never read such a load of crap in all my life.

Don't worry - Andy is now playing on different surface (from timesonline):-

"Not even reports that Murray’s injured right knee stood up to a football kick-about at the Lawn Tennis Association’s (LTA) National Training Centre at the exact time his agent, Patricio Apey, phoned in his unavailability for Britain’s first World Group tie in five years elicited any anger. "

Murray has yet to withdraw from a tournament in Marseilles that follows next weekend’s inevitable thrashing in Buenos Aires’s Estadio Parque Roca; that has been noted, but not criticised.

But this is just bad! ;-
Murray's agent Apey had agreed to be the team’s interpreter and courier in Argentina, then opted to stay in London. Even the normally loquacious LTA chief executive Roger Draper would not answer questions on Murray’s refusal to fly to Buenos Aires in the hope that he might be fit.

It did annoy me that there were videos of Murray looking in great condition kicking balls about then straight after, he quits DC. Some honesty would be appreciated from the Murray camp, we've had enough of spin from the Tony Blair era.

Why do you assume they are not being honest?  The fact Andy had a football kick about and looked in great condition does not mean his knee could stand up to tennis matches on clay.  Agree with the comment of spin from Tony Blair era but disagree with the allegation of spin from Andy.  What on earth has he done, apart from ensuring he doesn't make his knee worse, to deserve all the allegations being made against him.   Not only is he not allowed to lose a match without being called an idiot and a bottler, it now seems that he can't be injured without being called a liar

If Murray had come out and said, I dont want to play, I might reinjure my knee and really dont want to change surfaces in an almost un-winable match. Then we would be not so dissapointed, but the fact he's saying one thing and doing another, and we know its boll**ks anyway!

Being Scottish is definitely not a crime - on this site or anywhere else.  However, Andy Murray is the one who flaunts his heritage and when he behaves badly it is not unatural to feel embarrassed by his antics.
I think you are getting a little hot under the collar and need to step back and take a closer look at some of the Murray behaviour.

If you read his statement you will see that Andy has said he doesn't want to play because changing surfaces could increase risk of injuring his knee.  He can't win with you lot can he?
He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.  Give the guy a break for pete's sake.  
I agree with Margaret about renaming the site it should be called Anti-MurraysWorld because that's what its sounding like more and more.
