[/eurl] Andy Murray will undergo a scan today on his injured neck to decide when he will be fit to return.

He withdrew from the ATP Tour event in Los Angeles, starting this week, and his participation in his next scheduled event in Washington DC is also in doubt.

Murray was injured while playing Davis Cup doubles on Saturday.
I hope that the scan turns up nothing serious and all that's needed is a little time and a bit of physio.- Bevc (mw member)
Murray can ill-afford a long absence now. He has a slew of ranking points to defend in the run-up to next month's US Open, where he had hoped to be one of the 32 seeds.

The injury might further delay the start of a new coaching relationship with Brad Gilbert. An announcement on a deal between Murray, Gilbert and the Lawn Tennis Association has been postponed repeatedly due to contractual wrangles, though these at least appear to have been resolved.

Aww Kitkat.  hug Hope you get better!!!!! (Haven't seen you round for ages either!) Frown

Andy aswell! no I think there's more to the neck injury than that fall at the net. I remember in set 4 he served oddly, swore under his breath and put his hand on his neck before going for second serve. It's awful to see him in that sort of pain.  Crying or Very sad But hopefully scans prove well and physio will be able to help him.  hug
