MurraysWorld Awards 2008 « on: May 01, 2008, 06:30:46 PM »

As inspired by another forum these awards aim to provide a bit of entertainment and humour, as well as gratification to certain people.

Any suggestions are welcome.

After the catergories are choosen, a selection will be made of which will be choosen.

Then nominations will be taken.

Then votes will be cast.

Then winners announced.

Just some ideas for the catergories;

- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Best Fight
- Best Newbie
- Biggest believer in Murray
- Best poster

etcccc...

Make some suggestions!

Best poster? How do you define "best poster" .... I think you'd have to break that down in to different categories. Because there is so much that could contribute towards it really.....

If it's for humour, then it has to be a two way tussle between Gogsy and Al!

I disagree. I think several posters are capable of humour. And what sort of humour as well. Bev posts jokes and she's not the only one. Gogsy, Al, myself, Lorna, Mark, Laura, Cate ..... all show a reasonable level of witty retort to others posts....... Pretty tough one.

No, Al and Gogsy are the only people on here who regularly crack me up, a couple of quick witted gems they both are.

Ah but that;s my point, other people might disagree and nominate other people. Anyway, I think we should finalise an awards list before we think about who would win.

Thats what votes are for, if Al and Gogsy get the most votes then Andrew's right, all people who are suggested will be nominated and able to be voted for.
