Wise decision.

I think so Smile

Yeah, just like me! If you happen to see a LOT of Belgian flags, that'll be me Wink

LOL i'll keep an eye out!

Anyway, if you're going tommorow too then have fun Smile. I'll make sure I take some photos and I'll report back on my day when I get back.

It's okay, I've taken balls to the face before.

Had an alright day at Wimbledon. Met Neil and it's a bit surprising how he looks exactly like his photo. He also kiss-raped Cate twice, yes I just coined that term and Neil was the inspiration.

Saw the Roddick match, that was OK but the best bit was when I watched the end of the Henman match on Henman Hill.

"An alright day"? Not exactly brimming with enthusiasm MArk. What went wrong?

Rain and only having 5 sets of tennis played on the Court1 (my tickets). They should have brought Blake out, there was 2 hours of light left. no

Oh and the fact I'm jealose of Neil that he only got a ground pass but had a much better day. He got resale of Centre Court for £5 with his mate and watched the Henman match, lucky bast**d!

Was he wearing a brown jacket?  Saw someone that looked like his pic during the Henman match. He was sat up highin the stands, in a brown jacket playing with his mobile or something. lol

Yes because he was on TV in that match with his friend and I remember his light brown jacket when I met him Smile

Make a recording of it and upload, let it haunt him Very Happy

I was not bored at all! That was the best match I have ever seen in my life.

So far in the two days i;ve seen: Gonzalez, Verdasco, Hantuchova, Henman, Hewitt, Santoro and Karlovic, Sharapova, Blake, and I saw Rafa practising. Had some of the most amazing tennis ever, and still have ticekts for tomorrow! Been so unbeleivably lucky. My mate was on TV on a close up, ginger hair and blue rain jacket, but no one I know was watching, so I don't know if I was or not. We had two pretty good looking girls behind us.

Those two skinny girls who were filmed txting? That would make sense as to why you were filmed if you were close to them.

The camera man probably fancied them and therefore stayed looking in your area Very Happy

I was watching and I didn't see you. But then I wasn't actually looking for you cause you didn't tell me you were there till it was finished!

The two skinny girls texting were John Loyds daughter!

I was only joking when I said he looked bored, but it looked like he had  his mobile phone in his hands.  So were you wearing a brown jakcet Neil? Sat near the top of the stands.

Re: MW members going to Wimbledon 2007 « Reply #38 on: June 27, 2007, 12:43:36 PM »

just got back from wimbledon.. i had an AMAZING 2 days , i had centre court tickets on monday and tuesday

monday , i got to see - Federer, Henman V Moya which was such an epic, was an amazing atmopshere, we were one row from the back but still had a great time ! I also went to watch a bit of Gonzarlez V Genepri and JMDP and Tisperivic !

monday night i camped over on the nice streets of wimbledon ! was very eventfull and were souronded by the irish which was such a laugh ! i dont re-call have any sleep at all, but was worth it ! then we had a dilema on whether to choose centre court or court number 1 tickets as i really wanted to see Blake but also how could i miss an opertunity to miss the rest of Henmans epic, Rafa and Novak so we had to go for centre court tickets !
it was such an amazing day , we got out tickets and found out they were only 3 rows from the front, just slightly left behing  the players chairs, so i got some awsome pictures of Henman and Moya.. and rafa , i was such a sureal experience being so close ! i will post some pictures later on !

I loved all the matches i watched and managed to catch Safin, Tursunov, Ljubicic and Tsonga practising aswell as a bit of the Mahut V Clement match !

but i have to say , even though the Henman match was the best atmosphere and so tense , when rafa came on i was just overwhelmed by how hard he hits that ball and how technically sound his whole game is ! but Novak Djokovic was the best ! he was sooo funny and such an amazing player with an all  round impressive game !

it will definetly become a tradtition for me to camp out now, especially knowing i can be 3 rows from the front hehe
