Obviously not. I have a bad habit of not remembering last years news ...

That's what the schedule is for! And besides, people tend to point it on in tournament threads..... and rankings threads..... and any other thread where rankings are mentioned.... Last year's news has little to do with it.

Surely that's what I just said....... if you mean "last year's results had nothing to do with it" And yes, monday when the rankings were updated, he dropped down. But it was well pointed out after he went out of Miami in the first round.

Amy made a sarcastic reply to what i said, then misread the next thing I had said and posted a silly reply, then asked a question which i answered. So nothing it going on to answer your question, bar amy being a little slow on the uptake, which is understandable at this time of night!

All I was saying was I've been too preoccupied in my own life recently to notice the ranking change from the front page. I don't read the Ranking page because I think the whole thing is a waste of time and I haven't read it anywhere else that his ranking dropped.

A waste of time? Seriously? The predictions in that thread are very accurate and make a tournament more fun when you know the ranking potential.

I guess I'm one of those people who just likes to see what happens when it comes. I know people put alot of hard what into it but it seems daft to me.

I'm almost certain you're in the minority with that opinion but fair enough.

I'm ok with that. Predicting the future is boring because then you know whats coming. Wheres the surprise and interest in that?

But then again, a boring R1 match can suddenly be made very exciting if you know what is at stake And anyway, it's not like predicting the future - we never know the outcome of the match or tournament beforehand.

Oh I'm sure it would be interesting if it was a case where if he gets past such a round he'd be world number one or something big. But doing it every week its ..... meh. Either way, I'll carry on with my current routine ta very much
