That coach crash is terrible. The scary thing is, my friend was there a month ago at the same place, Fugen.
Scary.....
That's like me, i was meant to go to Thailand, to a hotel right near the beach the week the Tsunami happened - luckily i broke my leg and my dad decided we couldn't go so we stayed at home

My friends sister was at the top of the WTC about a week before Sept. 11th and then she missed the July 7th bombings by about an hour....

Ah scary!
My other friend was in London on the 7th July, but luckily she was still in the airport when the bombs had gone off.

Oh my - that's lucky!! My friend was seriously lucky with the london bombs - her dad's shift changed in the last minute, so he didn't get on the train he usually gets on, which was one of the ones with a bomb, and her uncle was a train behind........ my dad and my brother weren't so lucky
They were on two of the trains - luckily they weren't hurt seriously, but that was definitely a scary day i won't forget

I can't even begin trying to imagine what those few weeks must have been like for all those involved and those affected by the bombs. I mean I'm in Ireland, but it still hit me quite hard.

Totally - We were in school that day and everything went manic, to begin with the year 7s were going around saying the French were bombing us because we got the Olympics
and then we all thought it was just a power surge, then i had a strange phone call from my dads office asking whether my dad had left for work in the morning, and then we were told that there had been torrorist attacks, and the whole school was on the phone trying to find out information.
Our school was meant to finish for the holidays the next day, but they decided to close school that day as all of us lived in London, and some of us wouldn't be able to get home that night (like me) because their parents were involved
I mean, being the people manically trying to find out if relatives were ok was hard enough but i can't even begin to imagine what it was like for the people in the trains - must have been awful

That must have been horrible for you.
The whole thing of not knowing any information must have driven people crazy that day.

I had the orthodontist that day so I heard it all on the radio. When I got back from school people had random stories but I could tell them what really happened.

God yes the stories that were going around were crazy, but luckily we have some amazingly fantastic teachers, who allowed us to look information up on the internet, and try and call family etc. Also one of my teacher's husband is involved with like the police or something, so she told us all the information, whilst the internet was still saying it was a power surge
