You my friend post like a girl.

Mark

Would you take such a relax attitude and post a picture of your girlfriends Khyber that was sent to you or obtained in a similar manner?

Or if someone else posted it you would have probably used the generic cover all

"Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way."

So don’t come out with the crap that it is not against the rules.

I still think it was a crap thing to do and not particulary funny.

He's only disappointed rather than upset/hurt so I'm no longer that bothered about all of this.

At the time it was very funny for me and a lot of people. In hindsight the jesting atmosphere is gone and it's then easy to look at it in a really bad way.

Would you take such a relax attitude and post a picture of your girlfriends Khyber that was sent to you or obtained in a similar manner?
If I posted it on Facebook for my hundreds of friends to see then I woudn't be that annoyed to find it here.

That is your opinion, mine varies. I just assumed you would have realised I wouldn't have wanted it on a public messageboard. Obviously, like I said, I was wrong.

You were right actually - I knew you woudn't want it here but I still did it for the entertainment factor knowing that it was very temporary. I didn't feel that bad doing it because I knew you weren't sensitive type and also knew you had severely breached someone else's privacy in this forum before.

Now I know you were not upset I really don't think it was such a bad thing.

The fact that you admit I was right and then posted it anyway, doesn't make you look good.

The fact you did it because I breached someone else's privacy (hence breaching the rules), and then said "as well" means you are admitting you broke that seem privacy rule, therefore, makes you look bad.

Hence, you ain't doing well tonight :P Wink

And don't say you didn't break the rule, in your haste to reply, you just admitted it.

I already agreed I was an arse earlier, I woudn't have been an arse if I posted it in complete innocence. And anyway, it doesn't make me look that bad when you consider you are a victim of a crime you once committed but to a worse degree. You can reply with your primary school response of two wrongs don't make a right but the fact is you are less of a helpless victim when you count this into the equation. Smile

You've lost me, what rule have I broken?

I actually think I've done pretty well tonight, entertained the troops and all.

It does, because at the time, as already said elsewhere, I was greatly upset and annoyed - it's a totally different situation, you just admitted that you did it for entertainment purposes, hardly the same thing. Two wrong's don't make a right is relevant, not a primary school response.

And you said it was the same as what happened before. I breached a member's privacy, so did you, therefore you broke a rule. As AL has already pointed out. That is, if you wish to stick to your defence that I already did the same thing...... Up to you......

Either you broke a rule in posting it up and it's the same thing as what I did before, so I deserved it.

Or you didn't break a rule, but it's a totally different situation. Take your pick, I don't really care either way.

"Two wrongs don't make a right" is to stop primary school pupils from fighting with their class mates and then using the excuse that "they started it" even though in the adult world that's a completely valid excuse. Seriously, you need to stop using it in an adult conversation as it certainly holds no weight in this particular argument.

If a rapist is raped then people won't feel sorry for that person. If someone who is innocent is raped then they will. Or would you jump to the defense of the rape victim who is also a rapist and say that two wrongs don't make a right and you feel dreadfully sorry for him because it was such a immoral act?

Once again, I've already clearly stated I did not break any rules and you agreed on that. You can't just change your mind later.

I didn't feel that bad doing it because I knew you actually did break the privacy rule where I technically didn't but the emotions of the victim would have been similar.

Technically..... interesting word. Yes I never said you broke any rules. But you seem to contradict yourself a lot lol

My main point was, it;s not the same thing in the slightest. Above you are comparing someone getting raped after raping someone. That is the same thing. And far more serious than anything discussing here. It's really not a good analogy.

The point is, at the end of it all, you should not have posted up that photo, funny or not. But you already apologised so it's ok lol

1. I once again admit that it was wrong but I don't particularly regret it because you did something worse and actually did break the privacy rule severely where what I did can at worst be considered borderline but at the end of the day I didn't break any rules.

2. You interpreted it as a contradiction but go back and you'll see that I never changed my stance.

3. If you think it's a bad analogy than fair enough but it's certainly valid and gets my point across.

4. I disagree with you that I'm having a bad day - I've managed to entertain a lot of people and only at the expense of someone who's certainly no angel himself Wink

Can only be Sarah or Alex as I don't think there is anyone else from MW.... but I will check.

Haven't read through all the subsequent posts but I'm actually really disappointed that you think I could have done that. Of course I wouldn't as you clearly said you didn't want it posted and I wouldn't go against that. Not to mention the fact that I would not want to have to view the photo again after the initial viewing (and I only saw the front view which was enough for me, didn't view any more for fear of a possible back view which I didn't know for certain existed, and I'm glad I wasn't here to find out!).

Regardless of all that, the fact that I live in New Zealand and this whole discussion has occured overnight for me when I was in bed asleep should have been enough to suggest I had nothing to do with anything. Simply looking at my profile and seeing I hadn't been online for several hours might have been an idea.
