Yep, true. Plus I bought a few other things. And paid my car loan and visa off. So guess that counts as spending!


BTW, I love that clearasil advert where the guy is looking at family pictures of his girl with her mum. And the mum says ' here she is naked in the bath', and the girl says 'You should see me now' the mum says 'No' and the girl says 'oh yes'    

Anyone know which one I mean?

I remember talking about how if Google made their website black it would save so much energy. Now Google have done their own research and say it actually increases energy due modern displays handling dark colours like that. But I wonder how the market compares with what people actually use today in the world - I bet there are more CRTs than LCDs viewing Google. But I respect their decision based on their research even though it may not be absolutely relevant to present day.

CRT = big chunky monitor.

LCD = thin monitor.

I have a Sky box in my room.   It doesn't have a DVD player because I didn't want a built in one.  My DVD is brilliant and plays multi regional DVDs.
