Sarah_ you would make a fantastic wife I'm sure..... for someone else
I could never marry a Sunderland fan! Can you imagine fighting over who to get our kids to support?! Have the room Black and white, half Red and white!
We'd end up on one of those reality tv shows, or on the news when the next tyne and wear derby came up
nkp2(As we're refering to each other as usernames),
if
we did marry, and then actually carried out "the act" I would never allow your DNA into my genepool. So before you start picking out football teams (Which obviously, they would be Sunderland supporters, as your only half a Mag anyway!), lets just clarify we're not marrying!
Love you reaaally...

Sarah,
My older brother was the first from our family to go to Uni, but that was years ago and the funding is very different now.
Everyone will have different views on their time there, for every horror story there will be one with a happy ending.
Just because you have a degree and can only get a job in a call centre does not mean that.
a/ Working in a call centre is the worst job in the world.
b/ Whilst you are working to pay bills in the call centre you can not continue to look for work in your field of expertise.
Your right, and I know you are. I'm just finding it difficult making decisions!

Wha?
Actively?
As in, watches his matches, checks his results etc etc (the bear minimum to be considered a "fan" I suppose)
My current gf will be happy if he wins and would watch say... Wimbledon.... but that's about it.

Well I was saying if you and Sarah had kids they should like tennis as you both watch tennis and Andy Murray in particular. Or are you not wanting a gf who likes tennis because it hasn't worked out previously? Because you are missing out there my son! Sarah is an absolute cracking girl!

Not that I would ever accept an invite by NKP2, thanks anyway Amy! Nice to see someone with the same views as, well, me.

You know I have many friends at uni who finish this year or next and they still don't know what to do for a career.
Likewise. Out of 12 historians in my college / my friendship group, there's only 2 of us with firm plans for next year. At least 4 of the others are taking a (in some cases second) gap year to decide. But I think uni gives you the luxury of decision - I mean, I'm not saying they're made of money, they'll all have to temp next year, but they're qualified to go into almost any field they want to - they just have to figure out what that is!

It was really nice. The area i stayed in - which was like just outside the centre was beautiful, seemed like a really great area. The bay was incredible - some of the new architecture was great to look at - though the day i was there it was freezing and sleeting... so i can imagine it's a lot better in the sun. We planned to go back there one night, but didn't get the chance - it's probably great at night. We looked around various places in the city centre - has a tour round the millenium stadium which was well fun
Generally it's a great city ... it's a lot smaller than i imagined though... i only managed to walk around the uni buildings to see where it;s situated and stuff. So I wanna come back to look around at an open day definitely
