No, not yet. But Gasquet lost, so should Andy get to the semis, he'll equal Gasquet's points. I haven't checked who has more mandatory points, but I'd hazard a guess it's Gasquet - Murray after all missed 2 GS.

not got a clue! However, I have found an SLTA book from 2000 which has rankings lists.... how intriguing!

16 and under.

1) David Brewer
2) Colin Fleming
3) Andrew Murray
4) David Culshaw
5) Graeme Hood
6= Jamie Murray
6= Jamie Baker

14 and under

1) Andrew Murray
2) Graeme Hood
3=Jamie Murray
3=Jamie Baker

9) Graeme Dyce (also first at 12 and under)

Graeme Hood was a lad in my year at school and indeed, if he hadn't had a knee injury at the end of 5th year which kept him out of the game for 12 months he could have gone on to play on the future/challenger circuit for sure. Just some random stuff lol

Murray is ahead of Youzhny already. And if Andy reaches the semis, he will be behind Gasquet on the tie-break rules.

At the moment, Andy is provisionally up to 12th (1440pts), catching up Moya and Youzhny.

If Andy loses tomorrow, the players of immediate concern will be Robredo and Tsonga, who would catch him up by winning their respective matches tomorrow. Other players (Monaco - QF, Moya - SF, Karlovic - F, Verdasco - F, Nieminen - F) could also catch him up, but only later in the week.
It is possible for Andy to improve his provisional ranking tomorrow to 11th, by him winning and Berdych losing.

Berdych lost, which is good news for Andy if he wins today. It means he'd probably get 11th.

How on earth can people say this thread is pointless? It adds so much meaning to a match that otherwise is pretty boring. yay

And if it's that pointless, how the hell is there 108 pages.  This thread is used more than any other in general by everyone

The way the seeds 5-8 are, he has a really good chance to go on a good run at RG especially if he is seeded in 9-12 bracket.

Ferrer, Roddick, Nalbandian and Blake he would meet in the 4th round.  It could be worse.

Its actually extremely good - a 50% chance to get either Blake or Roddick. Brilliant!

Here are the players we want to lose ASAP: Monaco, Moya, Karlovic, Verdasco
However, only Monaco can possibly get ahead of Andy without reaching the final, the rest have to reach the final or better.

At the moment he is provisionally 11th, but depending on results this week, he could end up as high as 9th or as low as 11th in the rankings due to be published on Monday.

Gasquet, in his interview after his match today, said he might miss the French Open. Besides for this making it easier for Andy to overtake him, it would improve his seeding. However, there is no difference in being seeded 9th or 12th, so it will only help him if he finishes the week ranked 13th.
