I am loving these spredsheets Al. been having a play with mine this morning Al to find out probable rankings.

If Andy wins, and Blake wins too he goes to 10th place.

If Andy wins and Blake makes final they are equal on points but Blake would still take 9th. (more points for manditories). Anything less from Blake and Andy takes 9th.

Without winning the final Andy is not gonna make any progress.

Losing today sees him in 12th but if Moya makes more than the semis in Sauipe it's 13th.

Amazing what you can do even when the thing doesn't completely work.

He could even be 14th if he loses today, if Baghdatis or Mathieu win the tourney.

Ooh, I didn't do those scenarios. I must have knocked them both out. But then i think I had Simon-Youzhny in the final it Andy wasn't. I was having great fun playing with the possibilities though!

We need Blake to lose tonight and if Murray wins in the final, then he would be ranked 9th!  Also Moya can no longer overtake Andy.

From Valencia on 14th April til US Open on 25th August (11 tournaments including Olympics)  Murray defends only 120 points! If he can stay fit and prove that he can actually play on clay, then he could really close the gap on 5/4th!

I know, that's the bit I'm looking forward to the most. I just hope he does well and gains as much points as he can in rott, dub and the 2 MS.  It will make it easier for him to break into top 5.  I reckon he could be top 4 come USO.  What a healthy seeding that would be.

If he can hang on to this type of ranking (i.e top 12) up till the clay starts we're cooking by gas!

I would say that with a possible decent showing in the Clay season a top 8 seeding for Wimbledon should be achieveable.

You should always save it as .xls anyway because I don't think 2007 format is backwards compatible and neither supported by OpenOffice (what I use).

Sorry Mark wont happen again (that's me told).

Just force of habit to give it a name and save and not look at the format.

If I'm honest the only reason I use MS is because I get it free from work.

But the thing is we use 2003 at work and you can only get 2007 on the homework scheme so I would have to back save it away.

Not that I ever intend to work from home, I just wanted the free software you understand.
