Tim Henman's season is over after withdrawing from next month's Shanghai Masters because of a rib injury.

 ribs?! ...gezus, we're getting injuries all over the place... Emergency Room needed!  But poor poor Tiger!  This year has really been something to look back to and learn because not much of it has been impressive! 2nd Round of Wimbly.. hmn.. Tim!!! :? Hope we get a better 2006! because if not, that might just be the last straw for the man! :wink: |

Emergency Room has definilty been busy, 5 patients in the first day... and we threw a ice-cream feast in Rafa's honour... Marat ended up to drunk on vodka to talk.. Rogelio got to hyper on sugar.. and Rafa well he's biting his damn trophies again after loosing the Acupolco trophy in his back yard!  but nice to know that Andy will pop in! Haggis mate? ...or will Jack Daniels do the job?! we're really keeping 'em healthy! people here, must be thinking im nuts! :wink: |

:? Part of me hopes Tim will retire after next years' Wimbledon.
He's been such a fabulous player for Britain for the last 10 years, and while he's never had that rare edge that a true champion needs, he's been great for the game.
This year has been a nightmare for him. With two young children and permanent injury, I hope he puts family first and takes some time out for himself (with all the squillions he's made) 8)

I think its time for Tim to call it a day, he has had a great ten years, but i dont see him as one of those players who will want to hang around the 40 mark while hes out every few weeks with injuries.

I think Tim will keep playing until He's no longer British number one and then try and go with a bang at Wimbledon.

Tim Henman admits he does not know when he will be able to begin his preparations for the new tennis season.
The Briton withdrew from last week's Paris Masters having fractured the cartilage of his first rib.
